The lighting of the community’s beautiful 10-foot tall, silver Chanukah Menorah takes place Wednesday, Dec. 1st at 6PM. Our religious leaders from the local Synagogues will lead everyone in prayer as the menorah is lit. Location is the Bellmore Village Veterans’ Memorial at the corner of Bedford Avenue & Broadway/Pettit Avenue near the Bellmore LIRR Station. This year’s celebration will include the singing of traditional Chanukah songs.
