Built Well Solar won the first-ever “Long Island Choice Awards” for best solar energy company. These awards celebrate and recognize the best local businesses on Long Island.
“We’re very proud to be the winner of this award because our 20+ years in business have focused on our fellow Long Islanders,” said Built Well Solar founder and president Dan Sabia. “These awards mean a lot because they are designed to support and acknowledge the importance of small businesses, and we are very grateful for that and for having made it through the pandemic to continue to serve our community, when so many small businesses no longer can.”
Celebrating 20+ years as Long Island’s solar pioneer, Built Well Solar has enabled more Long Island homeowners and businesses to make the switch to solar energy than most other local companies combined. The company is well known for top-quality installations and “no pressure” personalized customer service.
“The participation from the public was truly inspiring” in the vote for these awards in its first year,” said Richner Communications and Long Island Herald CEO Stuart Richner. “Local businesses continue to be the driving forces of our economy.”
More than 20,000 businesses were nominated by Long Island consumers in 250 categories in this first-ever Long Island Choice Awards contest honoring the best local businesses. The awards program is sponsored by Richner Communications/Long Island Herald and presented by PSEG Long Island.
Built Well Solar was first nominated “best solar company” when the voting began in October 2021, made it through the nomination round through November 2021, and just recently won. The winners originally were to be announced in February 2022, but that was put off until April 5, 2022 due to COVID.
